This time-lapse sequence captures a huge eruptive prominence moving out from our Sun. The prominence is significant for both its size and its twisted figure-eight shape. This shape indicates a complex magnetic field threading through the emerging solar particles. Ten Earths could easily fit within the 'claw' of this solar event.
