COSMIC MESSAGE
Two bright clusters from Charles Messier's catalog sit in Sagittarius. M8, the Lagoon Nebula, glows a rich red. Above it, M20, the Trifid Nebula, shows a striking contrast in red and blue, with dark dust lanes carving through it. This region, near the center of our galaxy, is rich with star-forming activity.
