COSMIC MESSAGE

This image captures star trails, the arcs stars trace as Earth rotates. By gradually changing the camera's focus during the exposure, the out-of-focus portions of the trails reveal the stars' true colors. The subject here is Crux, the Southern Cross, one of the most famous constellations in the night sky. This technique allows us to appreciate the subtle hues of distant stars.
