COSMIC MESSAGE

The Orion Nebula, M42, is a well-known star-forming region, relatively close to Earth. This image uses ultraviolet and blue filters, augmented with specific colors from hydrogen, oxygen, and sulfur, to highlight different elements. It contains the bright Trapezium cluster and numerous stellar nurseries.
