Windblown N44F

NASA APOD
COSMIC MESSAGE

A fast and powerful wind from a hot, young star created this bubble-shaped nebula, N44F, seen on the left of this Hubble Space Telescope image. It sits on the end of a bright filament of hydrogen gas. N44F is in the Large Magellanic Cloud, about 160,000 light-years away. The bright, blue, hot star itself is just below the center of the bubble, driving the expansion.
