Eight Kilometers Above Titan

COSMIC MESSAGE
This panoramic view was captured by the Huygens probe as it descended towards Saturn's moon Titan. Scientists are still interpreting these surface features. On the far left, a boundary appears to separate smooth, dark terrain from choppier terrain in the distance. White areas in the image center and left might be a type of ground fog. The Huygens probe successfully landed in this region.
