COSMIC MESSAGE
At sunset, the Paranal Observatory in Chile's Atacama Desert points its telescopes to the sky. Its four 8.2-meter telescopes, named Antu, Kueyen, Melipal, and Yepun, form the Very Large Telescope. These instruments can work together or separately. Bright planets are visible above the mountain in this view.
