During a solar eclipse, small gaps between leaves on trees can act as pinhole cameras, projecting multiple images of the crescent Sun. This phenomenon creates natural, temporary patterns on surfaces, including clothing. Astronomer Philippe Haake captured this effect on his shirt while observing the October 3, 2005 annular eclipse in Madrid.
