At the center of the 30 Doradus star-forming region is R136, a cluster of massive stars. This Hubble Space Telescope image shows these stars and the surrounding nebula. Gas and dust clouds in 30 Doradus, also known as the Tarantula Nebula, have been shaped by powerful winds and ultraviolet radiation from these hot stars.
