COSMIC MESSAGE

The Full Moon tonight will arc high in northern hemisphere skies. However, a Full Moon will not occur on this calendar date for another 19 years, a period known as the lunar Metonic cycle. This image captures a gibbous Moon rising over the High Sierra mountains, reminiscent of Ansel Adams's famous photograph.
