NASA APOD
COSMIC MESSAGE

The Perseus Cluster, 250 million light-years away, is one of the most massive objects in the Universe. It is also the brightest galaxy cluster in the x-ray sky. At its core is Perseus A, a giant galaxy that is accreting matter as gas and galaxies fall into it. This Chandra Observatory x-ray image shows details of the x-ray emission from the galaxy and its surrounding hot gas.
