Enceladus Ice Volcanos

NASA APOD · Michael Carroll
COSMIC MESSAGE

Artist's vision depicts icy geysers erupting from Saturn's moon Enceladus. The Cassini spacecraft discovered these majestic plumes last year. Researchers believe the plumes come from pockets of liquid water beneath the moon's surface. Enceladus is one of Saturn's inner moons, bright and reflective.
