COSMIC MESSAGE

This is not a meteor. Instead, it is the brilliant trail of an Iridium communication satellite, captured during the Perseid meteor shower. The photo was taken from a beach campsite in Treguennec, France. While the Perseids were sparse, this satellite still made for a striking sight.
