The unusual stone mesas of the Cydonia region on Mars are striking. The Mars Express project released this new close-up image of a portion of the Cydonia region. Taken by the robotic Mars Express spacecraft, it shows an area about 90 kilometers wide, highlighting a particularly picturesque mesa in the lower right.
