NASA APOD · Victor Bobbett
COSMIC MESSAGE

The Very Large Array (VLA) in New Mexico consists of 27 radio dishes working together. These enormous antennas combine to provide high sensitivity and resolution for astronomical observations. The VLA has been instrumental in discovering water ice on Mercury, micro-quasars, and Einstein rings around distant galaxies.
