COSMIC MESSAGE

Toward the constellation Cetus, we see the large spiral galaxy NGC 1055 and spiral galaxy M77. NGC 1055 is seen edge-on, showing its dusty, narrow profile. M77 is face-on, revealing its bright nucleus and spiral arms. These two galaxies are dominant members of a small galaxy group about 60 million light-years away.
