COSMIC MESSAGE

Omega Centauri, also known as NGC 5139, is the largest globular star cluster in our galaxy. It is about 15,000 light-years away and 150 light-years in diameter, containing about 10 million stars. This sharp telescopic view shows the central regions of the cluster in the constellation Centaurus.
