COSMIC MESSAGE
This image appears to show the Earth and Moon from space, with a cratered Moon next to a blue disk. In reality, it is a view looking up into the dome of the ancient Pantheon in Rome. The "Earth's blue disk" is actually the daytime sky and clouds seen through the Pantheon's nine-meter central opening, or oculus.
