COSMIC MESSAGE
This sharp telescopic view from Oklahoma shows the southern lunar highlands. The prominent crater in the foreground, Moretus, is 114 kilometers across and relatively young for a large lunar crater. The foreshortened perspective makes the dense field of craters appear more oval. This image captures a rugged, ancient landscape on our nearest celestial neighbor.
