COSMIC MESSAGE
Ecuador's Tungurahua volcano erupts, sending molten rock glowing visibly down its slopes. A dark ash cloud billows to the left, while wispy white clouds drift around the lava-lit peak. The sky above is filled with stars, distant and serene. Tungurahua has been active roughly every 90 years.
