COSMIC MESSAGE
Thor's Helmet is a bubble of gas and dust about 30 light-years across, blown by a massive Wolf-Rayet star. This star, near the center of the helmet, is extremely hot and is thought to be in a brief, pre-supernova stage. The nebula sits in the constellation Canis Major.
