Haumea, a dwarf planet in the outer Solar System, is one of the strangest objects we know. Its oblong shape makes it significantly longer than Pluto in one dimension. This unique body is the fifth designated dwarf planet, joining Pluto, Ceres, Eris, and Makemake.
