COSMIC MESSAGE
The Milky Way stretches across the sky over a Chilean observatory. This view, captured after sunset, shows the galactic center, its star clusters, dust clouds, and nebulae. Zodiacal light, sunlight scattered by dust in the solar system, extends upward through the scene, and a faint meteor was also caught in the view.
