COSMIC MESSAGE

Astronomer-artist Deirdre Kelleghan sketched this celestial event from Greystones, Ireland. Her small telescope allowed her to follow a lunar occultation as brilliant Venus disappeared behind the Moon's dark edge. It then reappeared along the bright lunar limb, a lovely drawing of the conjunction of a crescent Moon and bright planets Venus and Jupiter.
