COSMIC MESSAGE

Saturn is nearing opposition on March 8, 2009, its closest approach to Earth for the year. While the planet itself appears larger through telescopes, its rings are almost edge-on to our line of sight, making them nearly invisible. Very good telescopic views are expected in the coming days.
