COSMIC MESSAGE
Comet Lulin, also known as C/2007 N3, was discovered in 2007. This comet was expected to become visible to the unaided eye in February 2009. Tracking observations indicated it had no tail at the time of this image, but its brightness was still uncertain. It was best viewed with binoculars and a good sky chart as it moved into the northern sky.
