COSMIC MESSAGE

M25 is an open cluster of thousands of stars, about two thousand light years from Earth. All the stars in this cluster formed together around 90 million years ago. The brightest and youngest stars in M25 appear blue. Open clusters are generally found in the plane of our galaxy and contain fewer, younger stars than globular clusters.
