COSMIC MESSAGE
These two panels show the familiar Great Orion Nebula, a stellar nursery, with an unusual visitor: a passing comet. Recorded with a remote telescope in New Mexico, the right image is from September 26 and the left from September 27. Comet 217P Linear, with its greenish tail, is seen above the bluish Running Man reflection nebula.
