COSMIC MESSAGE
This panorama shows the graceful arc of the Milky Way stretching between Mount Lassen and Mount Shasta in Northern California. Both are volcanoes in the Cascade Mountain Range. The image was created from multiple exposures, capturing both the Earth and the sky separately. The galactic center, with its dense star and dust clouds, is visible just above Mount Shasta.
