NASA APOD · Ken Crawford
COSMIC MESSAGE

The NGC 7771 Group of galaxies is about 200 million light-years distant in the constellation Pegasus. NGC 7771, the large, edge-on spiral near the center, is about 75,000 light-years across. Two smaller galaxies are just below it. The large spiral NGC 7769 is seen face-on to the right. These galaxies are interacting, making close passages that will eventually lead to mergers.
