COSMIC MESSAGE
The Moon shines over the Greek island of Rhodes, surrounded by a colorful lunar corona. This effect occurs when moonlight diffracts through water droplets in thin clouds. The composite image also shows star trails, including the bright trail of Venus setting below the Moon.
