COSMIC MESSAGE
In late September, Jupiter and Uranus were opposite the Sun in Earth's sky, making them good targets for telescopes. Jupiter was 33 light-minutes away and Uranus was 2.65 light-hours away. This composite image, recorded on September 27, captures both gas giants and their brighter moons. The faint greenish disk of Uranus is near the upper left.
