COSMIC MESSAGE

Sixty million light-years away in Corvus, two large galaxies, NGC 4038 and NGC 4039, are colliding. Their stars don't hit each other, but their gas and dust clouds do. This triggers intense star formation near the center of the cosmic wreckage. The Antennae galaxies span 500,000 light-years, revealing new star clusters.
