COSMIC MESSAGE
This cosmic vista stretches almost 20 degrees across the constellation Taurus, from the Pleiades to the Hyades star clusters. The Pleiades, about 400 light-years away, shine through dusty clouds that scatter blue starlight. The V-shaped Hyades cluster, at 150 light-years, appears more spread out due to its closer proximity.
