COSMIC MESSAGE
This prominent ridge of emission, IC 5067, is part of the larger Pelican Nebula. It spans about 10 light-years, tracing the curve of the cosmic pelican's head and neck. Dark shapes within the view are clouds of cool gas and dust, where new stars may be forming.
