NASA APOD · Panther Observatory
COSMIC MESSAGE

NGC 7129 is a stellar nursery, about 3,000 light-years away in the constellation Cepheus. This image shows young stars, only a few million years old, still surrounded by the dust and gas from which they formed. The blue clouds reflect starlight, while the red crescents are Herbig-Haro objects, jets of gas ejected by newborn stars.
