The supermassive black hole at the center of our galaxy is about to get a meal. A gas cloud, seen here in an artist's illustration, is venturing too close to Sagittarius A*. The Very Large Telescopes observed the cloud being stretched and heated. Some of it will fall into the black hole over the next two years.
