COSMIC MESSAGE
Tonight's Full Moon will be the largest of 2012. It reaches its full phase less than two minutes after hitting perigee, its closest point to Earth. This makes it appear about 14 percent larger and 30 percent brighter than a Full Moon at apogee, its most distant point.
