Eclipsed Moon Over Wyoming
NASA APOD · Mack H. Frost
COSMIC MESSAGE
A setting full moon can look unusual. On this morning, a Strawberry Moon was setting behind Wyoming's Absaroka Mountain Range when Earth's shadow caused a partial lunar eclipse. This event was visible across much of North and South America. In the foreground, a snowbank known as the Horse's Head is visible.
