Goat Aurora Over Greenland

During the Shelios Expedition to Greenland in late August, observers witnessed auroras of unusual color, rapid change, and unique forms. The ever-changing auroras morphed into huge shapes that spread across the sky. These included forms resembling a goat's head, an elephant's head, and a strange green-tailed comet. Veteran sky enthusiasts described them as unlike anything they had seen before.
