COSMIC MESSAGE
NGC 1365 is a barred spiral galaxy, 200,000 light-years across and 60 million light-years away in the constellation Fornax. Its bright core holds a supermassive black hole. The image shows intense star-forming regions along the spiral arms and dust lanes cutting across the galaxy.
