COSMIC MESSAGE

These two open star clusters, h Persei and chi Persei, are found close together in the constellation Perseus. They are about 7,000 light-years away. Hipparchus, a Greek astronomer, cataloged them in 130 BC. They are easily visible with binoculars and even with the unaided eye from dark sky areas.
