COSMIC MESSAGE
NGC 7424 is a grand spiral galaxy, similar in size to our own Milky Way, about 40 million light-years away in the constellation Grus. Its prominent central bar and winding arms are filled with bright clusters of massive young stars. These star clusters are hundreds of light-years across, marking regions of intense star formation.
