COSMIC MESSAGE
Even the Atacama Desert, the driest place on Earth, sees storm clouds, like these from a winter night last month. Amidst them are cosmic clouds, dark dust silhouetted against the crowded starfields and nebulae of the central Milky Way. Below and to the right, the Large Magellanic Cloud is visible, a satellite galaxy of our own.
