COSMIC MESSAGE
This image shows the warped spiral galaxy NGC 3718, near the center. Its spiral arms are twisted and extended, mottled with young blue star clusters. Dark dust lanes obscure its yellowish central regions. Another large spiral galaxy, NGC 3729, sits about 150 thousand light-years to the right, and the two are likely interacting gravitationally.
