Two bright Perseid meteors streak across the sky above Meteora, Greece. The meteors appear to originate from the constellation Perseus, visible in the upper right. The North Star, Polaris, is at the upper left, surrounded by short, arcing star trails. The ancient monasteries built on the sandstone cliffs provide a dramatic foreground.
