COSMIC MESSAGE

The Crab Nebula, also known as M1, is a supernova remnant. It is an expanding cloud of debris from a massive star explosion, witnessed by astronomers in 1054. Roughly 10 light-years across today, the nebula is still expanding at over 1,000 kilometers per second.
