On November 3, 2013, a total solar eclipse passed over Pokwero, Uganda, lasting a mere 20 seconds. This sharp telescopic view captures the moment the Moon completely obscured the Sun's bright photosphere. Beyond the Moon's silhouette, the reddish glow of hydrogen alpha light from the chromosphere is visible. The delicate streamers of the solar corona, the Sun's outermost atmosphere, extend into space, revealing its intricate structure.
