COSMIC MESSAGE
The Rho Ophiuchi cloud complex is a region where stars are forming, about 460 light-years away. The blue areas are starlight reflecting off dust, similar to why Earth's sky is blue. Red and yellow regions glow from gases excited by the intense light of nearby hot stars.
