NASA APOD
COSMIC MESSAGE

Spiral galaxies NGC 2207 and IC 2163 are colliding. Over billions of years, they will slowly pull each other apart, creating tides of matter, shocked gas, and bursts of star formation. Astronomers predict the larger NGC 2207 will eventually incorporate IC 2163.
